Moderna uses the science of Messenger RNA (mRNA) to create a new class of transformative medicines for patients. According to Moderna mRNA medicines are designed to direct the body’s cells to produce intracellular, membrane or secreted proteins that can have a therapeutic or preventive benefit and have the potential to address a broad spectrum of diseases.
Messenger RNA (mRNA) is known to play a vital role in the science of human biology and the approach of Moderna is to use mRNA medicines to instruct a patient’s own cells to produce proteins that could prevent, treat, or cure disease.
